Hi, I’m Beth — The Dancehall Darling.

If you'd told me a few years ago that I'd be teaching dance classes, choreographing line dances, and leading groups of strangers at corporate events, I wouldn't have believed you.

In 2022, I lost my dad to brain cancer. In the months that followed, I found myself rethinking how I spent my time and what truly brought me joy. I decided to say yes to more experiences, more connection, and more opportunities to make lasting memories. Dance became one of those things.

What started as a way to bring more joy into my life quickly grew into a passion. Along the way, my mom started dancing too, and one of the greatest gifts of this journey has been being able to share it with her. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities we've had to train, travel, and compete together—creating memories I will cherish for the rest of my life.

What began as a personal journey soon became a love for the music, the movement, and the incredible sense of community that dance creates. Before long, I found myself not only learning every chance I could, but sharing that excitement with others as well.

Today, I teach beginner-friendly line dancing classes, private lessons, and special events throughout Burlington, Oakville, and surrounding communities. Whether someone is stepping onto a dance floor for the very first time or looking to build confidence in a new style, my goal is always the same: to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where people can have fun and leave feeling successful.

A significant part of my dance journey has been with Simply Ballroom & Latin Studios in Burlington, where I've had the opportunity to learn from my talented instructor, continue developing my own skills, and grow as a teacher. I teach classes and participate in events through the studio, and the experience has been invaluable in shaping my approach to instruction. Working with dancers of all levels has reinforced my belief that dance should be accessible, supportive, and enjoyable for everyone.

While many people know me for line dancing, I also teach beginner salsa, swing, hustle, and other social dance styles. I love helping people discover that dancing doesn't have to be intimidating—it can be one of the most rewarding and joyful things you'll ever try.

Whether you join me for a weekly class, a private lesson, or a special event, I'm grateful you're here. I can't wait to share the dance floor with you.
